Description
SSK currently has the following career opportunity at their Grain Department in Riversdale. For this position, a candidate must have at least 5 years of proven management experience.

Responsibilities

• Experience in handling and storing grain in a silo and silo storage environment
• Experience in grading various grain types, especially winter grain crops
• Grain receiving and shipping procedures, grain fumigation, and grain storage
• Silo management practices and occupational health and safety procedures
  

Requirements

• At least a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
• Relevant post-school qualification/ experience
• Computer skills (MS Office) and numerical skills
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• A mechanical and/ or technical aptitude
• A Code EB (Code 8) driver's license
• A willingness to work long hours in seasonal times
• Physical ability to function in a silo environment
