Description
SSK currently has the following career opportunity in its Mechanization department in Heidelberg. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: Mechanization.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for the management of the Engineering department
• Responsible for the functioning of the workshop in Heidelberg (Western Cape)
• Day-to-day management of the workshop and scheduling/ allocation of work
• Ensuring that all work is completed according to established standards
• Budget management, purchasing, and inventory management
• Marketing and customer care, and people management
• General branch/ department administration as required

Requirements

• Relevant qualification and/or experience with a service-oriented approach
• Good planning and negotiation skills, interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate (MS Office and SAP applications) is a requirement
• A valid Code B (Code 8) driving license is a requirement
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of New Holland is essential
